ABSOLUTE HOLINESS THROUGH THE LOVE OF GOD
Yahweh’s House of God Oakland California

The call to the Kingdom of God is a call to glory. (1 Th. 2:12) It requires sanctification and a total commitment to holiness. All too frequently we hear non-Christians as well as Christians espousing the belief that no one can live perfect before God. Though there are several references in the Bible that state the contrary, they hold firmly to this belief. (Gen. 6:9; Job 1:1, 8, 2:3; Psa. 101:6; Pro. 2:21; Lk. 1:6; 2Cor 13:11) We as followers of Christ must measure up to him. Although this is a lofty goal and may appear beyond our reach God has giving us the necessary tools to equal his stature. (Eph. 4:11-13) Let us who are in Christ not be conformed, (Rom. 12:1 & 2), to such a low standard of unbelief but let us be an example of true holiness. (Eph. 4:24) Holiness is our calling (1Th. 4:7), perfection is our standard (Heb. 6:1) and God is our judge (Rom 14:4). Because Godís love is manifested in us we walk in absolute holiness and teach others to do so.
