Pastor Larry Clayton Hamner, anointed to preach the gospel, has been bringing good news to the people of God for thirty nine years. Pastor Hamner received the gift of the Holy Spirit, in the summer of 1965 at a small church in the west end of Cincinnati Ohio. Born October 1945 in Peterson Alabama a small country town just north of Tuscaloosa pastor is the youngest of thirteen children born to the late Rev. Henry A and Mary L Hamner. In June of 1963 he graduated from Robert A. Taft High School just a few blocks from where he received the Holy Spirit. After a brief but honorable stint in the US Air Force he returned to Cincinnati, two years later August 6, 1967 he married Sandra Anita Bray. Pastor and Lady Sandra moved to San Francisco California in May of 1978. He became pastor of the church in 1986 in San Jose in 1988 he relocated the church to 65th and East 14th street in Oakland. In October 1994 the church purchased the building where we are currently worshipping. Ordained a Bishop and appointed an Apostle of The House of God Pillar and Ground of the Truth, a man of wisdom, loving and caring for God’s people feeding the flock, daily tending the sheep. His wife standing and walking with him a faithful companion, armed for spiritual warfare. “I thank God for the two men who patiently shaped and fashion my ministry my two olive branches the late Rev. Henry A. Hamner, my dad and the former Chief Apostle of the House of God the late Dr. Fred C.
