Prayer is simply communication with our heavenly father. Most children use simply language to speak to their parents such as “mother may I” or “father could you help me” ? When we speak to our heavenly father, we simply language of repentance, forgiveness and thanks giving. Jesus left us a wonderful prayer guideline in what is known as the disciple’s prayer.

Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your kingdom come. Let your pleasure be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us this day bread for our needs. And make us free of our debts, as we have made those free who are in debt to us. And let us not be put to the test, but keep us safe from the Evil One. Matthew 6:9-13 BBE
